Lima Elks initiation featured Mrs Anna McNinch leading a committee with dances and performances by Camp Fire and Blue Bird Girls. Claire Empey Verna Marie Jenkins Nadine Smith Art Smith Neil Empey and Nadine Smith performed. Mrs Fred Mitchell played piano as Bernadine Rebich and Mark Walters assisted. A post event supper followed at Peat Hotel and Club Cafe.

The Examiner Printing Co. provided top quality printing one each night during the intermission between halves of the final game. The band played many selections nightly and became a hit with visitors and locals. Saddle Hunt of Sheriffs Successful
Monty Ryan a 21 year old cowboy is being questioned in connection with saddle thefts. He was arrested at Lima on February 14 by Deputy Sheriff Jesse Owen acting on the advice of Sheriff Temple. County Attorney W G Gilbert Jr said a grand larceny charge will be filed against Boyce over saddles stolen from the Chester Barrett ranch on Horse Prairie.
