Beaverhead County Hears Road Fund Increase Plan
Beaverhead county commissioners meet February 21 1947 to consider a 10000 emergency road fund increase and hear taxpayer views. A chapter of residents and Chamber of Commerce members propose a county wide road program led by a supervisor, pooling equipment and district input. The board adjourned after approving the emergency budget and a tractor rental for Rudolph Polish.

Wisdom Couple Wed in Simple Home Ceremony
Givogre Sylvester wed at bride’s parents’ home in Wisdom at 1 30 pm Saturday. Elder Henders on officiated. reception followed with turkey dinner and a wedding cake by the bride’s mother. The couple plans to live in Wisdom after a brief honeymoon. Postmaster W J Neidt takes over Wisdom duties with Mrs Neidt to join later. former postmistress Wilma Givogre resigned recently.

Members of the Di ana Rebekah lodge hosted a bridal shower for Mrs. Chester Barrett Jr with lodge gifts. The Wisdom Woman's club met with Ms Ted Woodward presenting Family Security and Insurance. Numerous social visits, pinnochle prizes, and trips to Butte, Jackson, and Dillon filled the week with gatherings at homes and churches.
