Rich vein of copper found near Helena Montana
A virgin copper lode near Canyon Ferry six miles from Helena yields three and a half feet of native copper at the 80 foot level. The claim is owned by James Murray of Dillon, former Governor R B Smith of Suneet, and C O Gruewell of Butte. Six men work it now. spring plans call for 12 as ore promises to make Montana a leading copper producer within two years.
