Big Hole VFW Post Established in Jackson
The Big Hole VFW post was instituted Friday with post members expected to become charter members within 90 days. Regular meetings will be at the Odd Fellows hall in Jackson where the ceremony was held. The next meeting is the second Friday in March and a Dutch lunch followed the Friday night session. Enthusiasm suggests the post will be one of the county’s most active organizations. Beaverhead’s three VFW posts may form a county council soon, a move feasible only in counties with all three posts.
