Serafino Roberts, a longtime ranchman and early resident of Horse Prairie, Petaluma California, was a member of Dillon lodge No. 16 A F & A M. He lived in the county over 60 years, shipped cream to Buffalo in earlier days, sold his holdings in 1944, and then moved to California to make his home while visiting here at times.

Tragic Auto Wreck Claims Two In City Collision
A Ford Tudor sedan crashed into a tree on North Atlantic street last Friday night killing Donald Laden aged 22 and Barbara Lee Hayes 15. Three other youths Rex Griffith 26 Maxene Benson and Frances Ryan sustained serious injuries with Griffith in critical condition. Police say excessive speed in the northbound run contributed to the crash.

Freak Car Wreck Near Melrose No One Hurt
A blowout caused a remarkable crash a mile south of Melrose last Friday around 3 PM. Robert D. Oakden, 19, of Idaho Falls, drove a 1937 Chevrolet coach into a barrow pit and leaped 20 feet onto the road, ending on its four wheels with no serious injuries to his companions Ivan Gray, 19, and Lee Hampton, 16, both of Idaho Falls. Patrolman Herb Slack investigated the accident and filed the report.

Former Lima Woman Flora Calvert Dies at 93
Miss Flora Calvert died last Friday at the Page sanitarium in Three Forks after a lingering illness. Her body was taken to Dillon for burial in Mountain View cemetery following funeral services at Brundage chapel conducted by Rev. James M. Hunter. Born November 12, 1873 in Piper City Illinois she moved to Lima in 1880. Survived by sisters Adda Martinell of Dell Sadie Bichler of Portland a brother Charles Calvert of Dell and two nephews ay and Lée Martinell.

Wise River Rancher Summoned in Butte
Charles Lambrecht long active in Wise River ranching died in a Butte hospital Tuesday morning after a brief illness. Born in Virginia City in the 1870s he moved to Butte as a young man and worked as a printer before turning to ranching in 1905. Funeral services are set for Thursday afternoon in Virginia City.

Museum Fund Nears $13 500 Goal in Beaverhead
Mrs. Fred Woodside reports the museum fund at 12732 78 dollars, about 768 short of the 13500 goal. Funeral rites for Charles A. Burden were held Friday at Brundage chapel with Dillon lodge A F and A M attending. Graveside services took place at Mountain View cemetery, followed by a Methodist church service led by Rev. James M. Hunter.
