Dick McCracken won champion honors with 212 points in the jumping contest at the Northern Rocky Mountain association tournament held last weekend at Bear Canyon Bozeman. First jump 64 feet second 65 feet. Fourteen high schools, 68 boys and 16 girls competed at this 10th annual event. Beaverhead County High School ski team included Billy Tash Lawrence Redmond Kenneth Peterson Jim Roberts and McCracken. Bozeman led team scores Ennis was second. Joe Krall and Mr. and Mrs. T Lee McCracken accompanied the team.
