Mrs Tilda Peterson age 70 who had lived in Big Hole Basin for 35 years and was the wife of Sam Peterson died Monday at her daughter Mrs Dysart Gowans home in Dillon after a brief illness. Born in Sweden on January 18 1874 she came to the United States as a young woman and had long resided in Beaverhead county. (Continued on page 8)

The Associated Merchants of Montana distributes copies of a proposed Montana code to at least one prominent merchant in each of 570 towns with 80 or more population. The code covers retailers, food dealers, wholesale and retail, and druggists, with Montana specific loss leader and trade practice provisions.
