Montana Senator seeks 500000 bond to enlarge state fair
Senator Whiteside in the Montana senate proposed a bill to issue bonds of 500000 to enlarge and improve the state fair. The plan would fund land purchase and new buildings with a one tenth mill tax, due in 80 years and payable in 20 if feasible. Whiteside argues the fair lags behind eastern and western peers and needs expansion and new horticultural facilities.
