Nan Merriman Charms with Varied Concert Program
Miss Nan Merriman a charming mezzo soprano delivered a polished recital last Thursday in the high school auditorium. She offered five groups of songs ranging from opera to spirituals in French Spanish Latin and English backed by Ralph Linsley at the piano. Her stage manner was conversational and engaging and she concluded with a set of encores including Bernstein and Bizet pieces.
