Beavorhead county high school upset Butte high 18 to 17 in Dillon last Saturday. Crowds witnessed a fast, close game with leading shifts, rough play at times, and strong Dillon throws. Officials handled calls impartially. Butte showed better teamwork while Dillon claimed final victory. Afterward a reception hosted for the visitors at the theatre.

Scenic Theatre Opens With French Films and Modern Equipment

The Scenic Theatre opens in the former J. Robert Morton building on Montana Street. It draws large audiences and offers top quality films from French studios plus a Powers projector. First features include Ali Baba and The Forty Thieves with vivid color, College Chu ma, and an illustrated song. Films change three times weekly on Tuesday Thursday and Sunday. Admission is ten cents. shows run 7:30 p m to 1 30 a m and Saturday afternoons.
