Aged Pioneer Charles Richardson Dies in Dillon
Charles Richardson a county pioneer died in Dillon last Thursday night after a stroke ten days earlier at his Polaris home. Funeral services were Sunday at the Masonic temple, Rev. Edward Smith officiating, with interment in Mountain View Cemetery. He was 66, born in Maryland, came to Dillon forty years ago, later moved to the Big Hole basin, and founded a Polaris store about fifteen years ago. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Hawkins Returns From Salmon River Country
W. W. Hawkins returned the latter part of last week from the Salmon river country where he had been tending business interests. He noted Idaho Lemhi county cattle underwent tuberculosis testing with 36 000 cattle tested and 568 reactors. In the Pahsimaro area 8 000 tested and ten reactors. Reactions will be retested in spring. the work was thorough, with one man testing 1500 cattle in a day.

Still Discovery Report in Lima Leads to Arrests
The sheriff's office found and destroyed a thirty gallon capacity still near Lima. John Sutherland and Phil Lyons were arrested, pled guilty before Judge Smith, fined $100 each, and sentenced to thirty days in county jail with the sentence suspended. Eight gallons of finished product were seized along with corn and sugar mash. One suspect was seen covering the still with sour dough and had prepared about forty pounds of mash.

Beaverhead Post No 20 American Legion elected officers at the meeting held last Monday in city hall rooms. Joe Fuller became commander and Alex Tait was named vice commander. Aged Woman Celia Fisher Dies in Dillon After Visit
Mrs Celia Fisher aged 68 died at the home of her daughter Mrs Charles R Price on the west side after a Thanksgiving visit to Dillon. A paralytic stroke followed within three days. She is survived by daughters Mrs George Wood Peoria Colorado Mrs J W Evans and Mrs C R Price Dillon and Miss Vera Fisher Albion Iowa. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 am with burial in Mountain View cemetery.

Cattle Drive to Big Hole District Planned from Wisdom

Winter Fishing Beaverhead Regulation Rescinded
