Frank A. Garr Dies After Lingering Illness at Dell Ranch
Frank A. Garr, prominent Dell rancher, died Thursday morning at his ranch home after a lingering illness. His brother Alva S. Garr, also a noted rancher in the Dell section, died only a few days earlier, on November 29. Garr was born February 28 1863 at Moulton Town and came to Montana in 1886 following early enthusiasm for opportunities in the state.

A White Gift Service titled The Birth of Our Saviour will be performed Sunday evening December 17 1939 at 730 PM at the First Baptist church. The event will support mission work among American Indians and feature a Christmas Lullaby with dolls performed by Carmen and Diana Powers Arlo Suthard Beverly Tucker Arlita Wright and Claire Blackburn. Children will join in Christmas carols as the pageant relays Luke chapters 1 and 2 with Marian Ries delivering the Luke message Thelma Banning delivering the prayer and a cast including Helen Dimick Richard Stone Evans Burrell Amos Wright and others as shepherds angels and wise men.
