A Dillon area report details two recent fatalities. Charlea Ritchey died at the Tom Haw ranch a week ago after an accident near Dillon. Jess Tuffield, a recent Dillon resident, was killed when his horse team bolted while approaching a threshing machine near the Tom Flynn ranch. Tuffield was dragged and killed instantly as the buggy overturned into an irrigation ditch. Dr. Walker declared no inquest necessary. burial held at Mountain View Cemetery.
