Runaway Wagon Accident Claims Pioneer William Stephenson

William Stephenson, a Dillon area pioneer and former prospector, died after a wagon wheels two horses frightened them and caused a fall on Montana Street. The 4th similar incident in two weeks near Dillon occurred as he drove to gather materials for Tash & Lenkerdorfer. He was died at Mountain View cemetery after treatment at Dr Bond's and the Bryant home.

Christmas Services Planned Across Dillon Churches

Christmas services will be held in two Dillon churches next Sunday with detailed programs. The service includes multiple hymns, prayers, anthems, solos and duets, readings from Scripture, and an address by Rev. A. B. Martin. Mourning in Dillon Over Sudden Death of Mrs. W. A. Jones

The Dillon community mourns the sudden death of Mrs. W A Jones in Los Angeles California. Her death followed a long period of illness and her passing leaves a large circle of friends and family grieving a gracious, charitable woman remembered for kindness hospitality and community service. Her husband Mr. Jones, previously Dillon county clerk, traveled to Los Angeles with support from relatives as funeral plans awaited further details.

Dillon Boys Fall To Anaconda In Local Basketball Clash

Anaconda defeats Dillon 30 to 17 at the roller skating rink on East Commercial Avenue. Anaconda led 16-9 at halftime and 14-8 in the second half.
