Dorothy Ann Davis, daughter of Mr and Mrs Lorin Davis, will receive the Golden Eaglet at a court of awards in the county courthouse. About 60 Girl Scouts will be recognized across Tenderfoot to First Class. The event runs 7 to 9 pm with volunteers coordinating the ceremony and training.

A brief frosty blast swept Beaverhead County Saturday night with a 38 degree drop in minutes. Montana Auto Supply recorded 38 degrees above zero at 5:20 pm and exactly zero by 6:00 pm, then a low of 5 degrees below zero overnight.
