Man Held on Murder Charge After Lima Soft Drink Death
Al Snoden faces first degree murder charges for fatally wounding Samuel Bates in a Lima area soft drink establishment. Bates died in a Butte hospital after being struck with a heavy poker. Snoden was arraigned on a first degree assault charge and held in county jail with bond set at 5000 dollars. an inquest is planned in Butte next Saturday.

Thanksgiving Observed Across Dillon Community
Thanksgiving was observed in Beaverhead County with services at St. James church including pastors from several local churches. The Rev. T. J. Simons delivered the sermon while music was provided by the St. James choir and visiting church members. Turkey dinners were shared at homes across the county and a large turnout attended the annual Dillon volunteer fire department Thanksgiving dance at the city hall auditorium.

Frank Little Earns All-Montana Football Honor
Beaverhead high School full back Frank Little was named to every all Montana twelve team by state newspapers and the Montana Standard. The Dillon star led a 350 to 12 season scoring run and was hailed as a triple threat player, stellar on offense defense kicking and passing.

Fewer Delinquent Taxes Expected in Beaverhead County
Beaverhead County Treasurer Norah Connelley reports fewer delinquent taxes this year than in recent years though final figures will take a few days. Mrs. Tritt Passes Away at Her Dillon Home
Mrs. John Tritt known as Grandma Tritt died at her Dillon home last Thursday after a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at Brundage chapel with Rev. R. O. Shannon of First Baptist officiating and interment in Mountain View cemetery. She was 15 years old at death and had lived in Dillon for more than twenty years.
