Rancher E L Kline Dies After Thanksgiving Horse Accident
Er L Kline 52 or 53 died Friday morning from injuries after being thrown from a horse in his Dillon valley ranch yard on Thanksgiving afternoon. He struck his head on a barrel, scalp almost torn away, death due to ruptured blood vessel. Survived by wife Jennie and two daughters Emily and Marie. stepdaughters Bessie Galloway and Annie Black. Funeral held Sunday at family home with wife conducting rites. interment Poindexter cemetery.

The Examiner reports the consolidation of T. D. Olmstead grocery and John W. Morton hardware and implements in Dillon. The Morton store on Idaho street will house both operations under one name beginning next month. Morton buys the Metlen lots at Idaho and Glendale and plans a brick or concrete two story block, 75 by 115 feet, with 75 by 75 foot sales space, modern fixtures, and storage space, creating a leading general mercantile house in Southern Montana.
