Let Contract for Clock December Session of Beaverhead Board

Beaverhead county officials met December 1906 in regular session with W M Oliver as chairman. Contracts awarded include tower clock and related hardware to Huber Brothers for 1683.50 and jail and road work adjustments. The board approved financing, property valuations, and road petitions while scheduling further sessions through December.

Popular Basin Couple Wed in Dillon Big Hole Basin

Miss Ketella C Hirachy and Oscar T Husted of Fox were married last Monday at the Manse with Rev. Dr A B Martin officiating. The groom is a noted Basin youth and the bride, daughter of pioneer rancher Fred Hirachy, is a leading Basin figure. They will visit Butte briefly before settling in the Basin.

School of Music Concert at Assembly Hall on Dec 19

The State Normal School of Music will present a grand concert in the Assembly Hall next Wednesday evening December 19. The Brotherhood of American Yeomen lodge plans an evening at Odd Fellows Hall next Tuesday featuring instrumental and vocal music drills recitation and other amusements. Admission is 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children with refreshments. Roosevelt Creates Big Hole Forest Reserve in Montana

A dispatch from Helena reports President Roosevelt proclaims the Big Hole forest reserve in Montana totaling 1 410 240 acres. The reserve spans Beaverhead and Silver Bow counties with irregular boundaries along the Montana Idaho line and Deer Lodge river. A separate tract on the Silver Bow side lies outside the main reserve.
