Dillon Couple Weds in Butte and Leaves for Manhattan

Miss Mable Willard and Mr. Harry W. Turner were married at the Methodist parsonage in Butte with Rev. Rexwood officiating. After a wedding dinner at 219 East Platinum, they departed for Manhattan to reside, with Willard a Dillon native and Turner a former Dillon resident now active in Manhattan contracting.

Leaverhead High Faces All Stars in Thanksgiving Clash

Leaverhead county high school met an All Star team of former college and old school players on Thanksgiving, losing 19 to 0. Barry and Mosher scored for the All Stars, while Chapman starred for Leaverhead with strong kicking and runs. crowd attendance helped cover gate receipts to Idaho Falls.

The Montana Mercantile Co Examiner contest concluded Monday evening at six with intense, fair play from six hopeful candidates. Judge Harry Gilbert sealed the ballot box for final counting at 4 p.m. today, as organizers praised the contestants and judges for impartiality and sportsmanship.

Mrs. M E Barry hosted two six course stag dinners this week for Mr Barry who leaves for a two week trip to Detroit to meet Cadillac state agents. Wilson Pleads On Thursday In Multiple Justice Cases

Court convened Tuesday morning with Judge Poindexter. Informations filed against John Wilson on two robbery charges with bonds set at 5000, Wm Fitzpatrick and Owen Isterday for burglary at 1500 each, Patrick Shields charged with burglary 1500. Wilson arraigned for robbery, held to plead by Thursday with Robison appointed. Fitzpatrick and Isterday arraigned for Porter's saloon robbery. former pleaded guilty, latter not guilty and trial set for Monday. Shields arraigned for Wheat home burglary, given until tomorrow to plead with Alvord appointed. Helen Southerland’s case vacated.

Virginia City Judge Chooses Dillon Residence

W A Clark recently elected judge of the fifth judicial district will move his family to Dillon within weeks. He has rented the David Robb residence on South Pacific street while Mrs Robb and daughter Frieda spend winter in California for health reasons.
