M S N C notes that Gargoyles and campus dramatics society will present the three act comedy Dear Ruth by Norman Krasna on Wednesday evening December 8. George R. Baker, manager of the local State Employment office, notes November saw a sharp drop in area job openings from 101 in October to 38 filled positions including 14 in agriculture. Applications rose from 28 to 64, with many filing for unemployment compensation and readjustment allowances.
Mr and Mrs Joseph L Breeze and their infant escaped injury when their Ford coupe plunged off the highway two miles south of Red Rock on Thanksgiving morning. The icy road caused the crash, the car rested right side up in water after overturning. They were helped by a passing motorist and taken to Dillon for transport to Alder. The car was later brought in for repairs.

The same docket includes a quiet title action by Agnes Pierce Ingersoll against all unknown claimants to lands in Dillon described as the Northwest corner of Fraction C Original Townsite Glendale and Pacific Streets with a sale agreement dated September 21 1948 pending.
