Dillon's semi pro team led by Manager Matt Barry opened the Bozeman series with a 13 to 2 win as pitcher Richards held Bozeman to one hit. Ripley suffered a nose injury but is expected to return soon. Dillon heads to Roundup then Lewistown for a five game swing before a potential three to four game spread with a Union Association selection.

Summer Session Closes At State Normal College
The summer quarter ends on Friday with sixty six students in actual attendance and about one hundred ten total enrollment. The year completes the first continuous session with forty eight scholastic weeks in four twelve week quarters.

Mrs. Richard Halliday reports Roy Adams died in Rupert Idaho on the 12th of this month. He formerly lived in Dillon and had been successful in business there. Details of the death are not known.

Indian Village to Feature at State Fair

Former Dillon Man Dies in California at 83
Charles Stolz, a longtime Beaverhead County resident, died August 22 in Redlands California at age 83 of old age. He came to Montana in the early 1900s, worked for Poindexter N Orr, later ran sheep business, moved to California about fifteen years ago, and was buried in Redlands. Alice Dauterman of Alder visited Dillon this week.
