Three Arrests Reported In Grand Larceny Case Trio
Sheriff Gosman arrested Seth Williams in the Centennial valley last Saturday and brought him to Dillon. A Bozeman grand larceny warrant followed, as two men named H. Br. Beck and J. J. Moore were captured in Lima by Officer Robison and jailed in Dillon. They are charged with grand larceny in Grangeville Idaho for stealing six horses.

New Teacher Appointed at Normal College

Dillon Welcomes New Faculty Member and Social Leaders
A graduate of Yard University and Yale in 1909 the new faculty member brings teaching experience and strong recommendations. Mr and Mrs Scott plan to arrive in Dillon from Seattle in early September and will enrich both social and educational life.
Dillon Band Plans Picnic on Labor Day
The Dillon brass band announces its first annual picnic on September 2 at the John Ewing ranch nine miles north of the city. Mrs Ruth Morris eight six died last Saturday at her son J O Vermillions Salt Lake City home from infirmities of old age. She lived many years in Dillon and was well known there. Interment was at Mt Olivet Utah on August 19.

Open season for waterfowl begins September first
A week from Sunday, September 1, marks the opening of the duck goose brant and swan season. Ducks have a daily limit of 20 while other waterfowl have no limit. Beaverhead River sloughs show abundant ducks and crowds are expected to hunt all day. Grouse prairie chickens and sage hens season starts October 1.

Jail Break Attempt Foiled By Night Patrol
