The Dillon Examiner guarantees the largest paid circulation in Beaverhead County and invites advertisers to inspect subscription records. It lists for President William J. Bryan of Nebraska and Vice President John W. Kern of Indiana.
By order of the Democratic Central Committee a convention is set for Dillon at the Court House on Saturday September 5 at 2 30 pm. Delegates and alternates will elect 19 delegates and 19 alternates to the State Convention in Anaconda and nominate a full Legislative and County Ticket. Primaries August 29 outside Dillon and August 31 in Dillon with precinct schedules and nominations advised.
Open season for game begins September 1 as hunters prep gear and licenses. Montana reports promise for big game while feathered birds vanish, urging license compliance. A Billings meeting urges club women to buy 100 tickets to Billings by October 23 and lists delegates and attendees.
