Car stolen near training school recovered by sheriff
A Ford truck stolen from near the training school last Wednesday noon was recovered that night abandoned near the river bridge north of Dillon after a 125 mile run. No damage or stolen tools were found. Owner Guido Shafer witnessed the theft but did not identify the culprits. LeRoy Miller is jailed on charges of passing worthless checks in Armstead, about 35 dollars total, signed with a Grant rancher’s name. He was arrested in Armstead Saturday and will be arraigned in district court next Monday.
