The fifth annual Dillon chautauqua begins tonight with a McDonough-Eagleston musical and Dr Joseph Clare on The Riddle of the Russian Revolution. Lectures, concerts, and pageants follow through Sunday with Czecho Slovak band, Mme Caravelli, and Apollo Concert capstones.

Home From France Returns of Dillon Contingent Veterans
Home from France Lieut Geo Baker arrived last Wednesday evening after nearly two years in active service. He was among the first to enlist and reached France early. Ralph Tattersall who left Dillon with Baker arrived home last Saturday after serving with the engineers in France. Walter Brown, Baker and Tattersall’ s companion, is at Camp Merritt awaiting discharge and will be the last of the first contingent to return.

Anderson Baby Dies Suddenly in Early Morning
Mary Josephine Anderson, 29 days old, daughter of Mr and Mrs T F Anderson, died Sunday morning around four o clock after a brief illness since birth. Acute heart trouble is suspected. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Regular shoot yields Schultz challenge medal winner
Arthur Graeter won first place in the handicap shoot for the Schultz challenge medal at the Dillon Rod and Gun club regular shoot held last Sunday at Dillmont park. O'Brien of Butte took second with Weatherwax Schultz and Hartwig tied for third. Other events included three single shoots of fifteen birds and a 12 pair double. Participants included O'Brien Weatherwax McLeod Smith all of Butte and Williams of Deer Lodge.

Clegg Rites Held for B L Clegg in Dillon
The remains of B. L. Clegg who died in Rochester Minnesota August 3 were brought to Dillon last Wednesday evening. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Methodist church with interment in Mountain View cemetery. Rev. H. G. Humphrey conducted the services.

Wyman Party Returns From Four Day Philipsburg Trip
