Grasshopper Control Plan Urged by Montana Expert
Dr Harlow Bills of Montana State College entomology urges rapid grasshopper control through a three point program. He advises against stubbing in any crops and promotes plowing stubble six inches deep, early weed burning, and quick poisoning with a mechanical spreader to reduce bait use and protect fields.
