In Dillon Montana no votes were cast in a county high school trustees election while other districts produced turnout. Lima led with 73 votes followed by Bannack 25 and Jackson 22. Trial of Ralph S Brothers for Horse Stealing Continues
Ralph S Brothers of Lima faces grand larceny charges with two horse theft cases. The Idaho mare owned by Warren W Collier was allegedly taken and later found with John A West Sr who bought it from Brothers. The trial resumes tomorrow at 2 pm with witnesses and a separate April 24 continuance for Brig Nelson’s case. Idaho witnesses and distant travel delay proceedings amid heavy snow.
