Beaverhead Farmers Institute Holds Successful Dillon Meeting
The Beaverhead County Farmers Institute met in Dillon on March 31 with better attendance than last year. Prof. Cooley urged farmer organization, Eliott discussed mechanical milkers, Whiteside spoke on orcharding, and medals were awarded in grain contests. Evening talks covered farm ethics, domestic science, and cooking demonstrations by Miss Lucile Brewer.

Big Madison Ranch Sold to Hodggen Brothers of Butte
The J. B. Wellcome ranch in Madison valley, valued at about 125000, has been sold to Thomas Hodgens and his brother J. O. Hodgens of Butte. They plan active improvements and to run it as a large ranch with J. O. Hodgens managing on site. The irrigation ditch project begun by Wellcome will be completed this summer.

Airship to Feature at State Fair Exhibits This Year
Secretary J W Pace of the state fair closed a deal with William T Lester of Storbel Airship Co Toledo Ohio for two daily flights of a modern airship at the state fair. The 62 foot long machine uses a 15 horsepower four cylinder gasoline engine and will be earthless in motion. No payment will be made to the company until flights occur.
