The Farmers Union Band local held a Friday evening business meeting at Nelson school followed by a music program with piano solos by Clara Nelson and Mollie Doyle and accordion by Kenneth Morrison. The group also played cards with high scores by Mrs. Vernon Nelson and Matt Platt Jr. and consolation prizes for Mrs. Jack Doyle and Maynard Miller. Lunch was served by Mrs. Matt Platt and Mrs. Andy Papish.
