General Crook Post No 38 6 ALR will observe Memorial Day May 30 by decorating graves at the cemetery. Members meet at Post Hall 9 oclock to start for the cemetery at 10 oclock. The Deaf School boys won their opener against town Boy Scouts 24 to 7 in four innings. A second game was planned as both sides aimed to showcase their best players. Delegates Bangs and Page attended the Northwestern Development League meeting in Helena, Mont. They toured Boulder and Montana School facilities, noting Milligan’s leadership and future attendance growth for the Montana school.

In about two weeks the Horton Motor Company will attempt the longest nonstop run yet, 880 miles, from this location to Glendive Montana via Harvey Washburn New Salem Dickinson Beach Glendive and return via Wittiston Minot and Rugby. A Cadillac Demi Tempesy Stock car will depart around p.m. and stay engine running continuously. The route includes stops at Washburn and other towns for fueling and maintenance as the car crosses the Northwest region.
