University Glee Club Concert and Campus Events
A detailed report covers the University Glee Club concert at the Metropolitan Opera House last Friday praised for its polished performance from start to finish. It also notes a humorous third division with Orphie Halvorson’s Dutch readings and student attendance welcomed by Director Norton. The week includes a public girls debate on reciprocity, new athletic field progress under Coach Dunlap with a forthcoming Varsity game, and a reception series hosted by President and Mrs. McVey for students and faculty. A university governance conference discussed cooperative lectures, credits exchange, and legislative education matters, with Lester M. Smith winning second in the State Oratorical Contest and Gordon McGaugran visiting.
