He was a 1910 Saint Olaf College graduate planning law practice, survived by father, two brothers, four sisters including Miss Anna Hoghaug of Detroit. Funeral held at United Lutheran church Lake Park conducted by Rev H Dalager. Community expresses heartfelt sympathy.

Furniture for the Great Northern Hotel costs about $25,000. President B A Wilson of the North Dakota Improvement Co says the opening date is June 1 with May 15 arrival of a large furniture consignment. Goldberg Furniture Co holds the contract. the lobby will feature leather chairs and rockers, with ornate parlors and oak dining furnishings. Bishop O Reilly came from Fargo last Sunday and celebrated a high mass at Our Lady of the Seven Dolores Church. Postal Savings System to Begin in Devils Lake May 1

The postal savings system will start in Devils Lake on May 1 with Fred Scott in charge. It allows deposits from anyone over ten years old who is a patron of the office, but excludes corporations and societies. Deposits earn two percent interest, are stored securely by the post office, and may be withdrawn in whole or part at any time. upon death, the deposit goes to the administrator or executor of the estate.
