Miss Marion Mitchell daughter of H. E. Mitchell and Prof Charles E. Pitchert superintendent of public schools at Balaton Minn were wed in a formal family ceremony at the Mitchell home. The Presbyterian rite was conducted by Rev B. G. Bailey with Marion in a white chif fon marquisette gown. Attendants included Harriet Reading Celia Duell Rica and Maze Connelly with Pearl Duell Leonia Hopkins Mildred Holmes and Vera Beede as ribbon bearers. The couple’s first hours united under floral arches of aspargus fern and white sweet peas as guests praised the event in a small intimate setting.

Train Kills Two Laborers In Michigan City Incident
Last Friday night two laborers Jas Koeft and Joseph Kelley were struck by a train No 1 in Michigan City and died. They sat on the track and could not be stopped in time. Coroners inquest absolved the railway company. The dead men were from Montana. William McDonald, a former Los Angeles resident, is held for a month over his landed interests.
