Gasoline stove blast burns Strand family home tragedy
A gasoline stove explosion at the John Strand farm eight miles from Edmore left Mrs. Strand critically burned and to die, her husband Mr. Strand badly burned saving her and the baby. The house burned, both were rushed by train to Devils Lake General Hospital for care.
