Mary Cairns hosted a thimble bee with sewing and music while guests enjoyed refreshments. At I Glerum’s home a children’s party celebrated Mary and Ralph Glerum with games and treats. Howard Maher’s 10th birthday featured crokinole and gifts as candles lit the decorated table. County Commissioner Ola Furstenau led a dancing party with about forty attendees. Mrs. Wallace hosted a Fargo bound Epworth League gathering and Pedro game, while the Daughters of Rebekkah enjoyed progressive euchre at I.O.O.F. hall. The Metropolitan club plans a winter dance with Chandler’s Philharmonic orchestra at Wine man’s hall and club leaders seek a memorable event.
