Olson Wins Auto No 25 in Catholic Church Contest
Oliver Olson of the Great Northern shops held the winning No 25 in the automobile drawing hosted by the Catholic church. The event closed last Saturday evening amid strong interest. Mrs. Norton and Mrs. O'Brien hosted a dinner and card party at the O'Brien home on Kelley Avenue. guests enjoyed conversation, a 6 o'clock dinner, and evening card games. Mrs. Shirley spent the past week in Rolla visiting friends.

John Weed living six miles east of town won the Shetland pony in E. W. Gilbertson’s holiday contest. The drawing Tuesday evening was supervised by Rev. Clattenberg, William Falgar, and R. B. Austin, with lucky number 1482. The pony is described as a neat little dandy and prized by its new owner.

Silver Cup Trophy Awarded to Winning Side at Hanson’s
The Silver Cup goes to the victorious side displayed at Hanson’s. Efforts will be made to secure a better farming expert for future events and demonstrations.
Club seeks 300 new members by January 1 with silver cup prize
At a Tuesday meeting the Commercial club committees advanced plans for a city wide campaign to enroll 300 members by January 1. A silver cup will go to the team securing the most new members. A Saturday full canvass and a New Year gathering are planned to boost membership and introduce a Better Farming Movement rep for Ramsey county. The drive requires a 32,000 annual guarantee to cover the expert in Ramsey county over a three year term.
