The Kenmare Roller Mill burned last week causing about 20000 in losses. Ads note no tenement labor on Keystone Maid cigars at Hodgkinson's. Local court actions, loans on farms, market notices, and various city visitors populate the town scene with mentions of stores, churches, and upcoming holiday events.
Barry VanLiew, while visiting local parents in the city, suffered a painful accident in Seattle. Attempting to catch a streetcar, he was struck by an oncoming vehicle and injured.
At the Bell home in the city on December 22, Miss Angie Bell wed Frank Elliott of Starkweather. Rev Reeves officiated with close friends present. Floral décor featured white and red carnations beneath a roses arch. A wedding dinner followed. The couple will reside in Starkweather after January 10.
