Young man Chas Davidson returns to face seduction charge
About a month after a well connected youth from Austin Minnesota named Chas Davidson found work near Ramsey County. Sheriff Johnson arrived with a warrant and requisition papers to fetch him back for trial on seduction under promise of marriage. A love affair with a local schoolmate drew him into trouble. Death by self-inflicted gunshot on Grandin farm
An Icelandic migrant, eighteen, at the Grandin farm near Hillsboro, shot himself with a 38 caliber revolver between 4 and 7 PM on Friday in the men’s room. He arrived four days earlier from New York Mills, was found dead by a bed, and an inquest led to a verdict of death by the deceased’s own hand. His brother and brother-in-law retrieved the body for burial.

Boy Shot in Face in Reynolds Accident
An 18 year old, William Beaman, was shot in the face near Reynolds by companion Brakke while playing an accordion. The gun fired as Brakke pointed it. a shot tore part of his right side and his right hand. He survived but with limited recovery chances.
