Death of Mrs. Nicholas Cowan in Churchs Ferry
Mrs. Nicholas Cowan wife of Alexander Cowan died Sunday night at 10 30 after la grippe and bronchial complications at the local hospital. She was born January 17 1826 in Moffat Scotland and aged 78 years two months and 27 days. Survived by husband four sons and three daughters including Judge John F. Cowan William Cowan Alexander Cowan David Cowan and daughters Mrs James McManus Mrs Robert Dulmage and Mrs Harry P Rachor. Funeral from Presbyterian church Tuesday at 2 PM with large cortege to the cemetery.
