Center Well Deal Fizzles over Destin Center Leases
Destin Water Users will not pursue a fifth well lease if it buys property on Stahlman or Calhoun Avenue. Director Malcolm Patterson criticized a proposed $7200 annual fee for unsleased use of Center property as unrealistic, and discussions end if purchase proceeds. The Center plans leases for current occupants including Destin Fire Department and Destin Fishing Rodeo with drafts prepared by attorney Jim Webb.
