Shoreline condos and Destiny TG&Y enjoy strong summer
The season was off at times due to bad weather but July was very busy for Shoreline Towers condos, with Shirley Clark noting the summer as much better than last year. Destiny's TG&Y reported a fantastic summer as condo unit growth boosts store traffic. Pier 98 manager William Wray says 1984 fared better than 1983 and business is improving yearly. Most expect a slow-down after Labor Day, with winter months offering prep time for next year and room for new rivals in Destin’s tourist market.
