Tourism breaks record in Florida for 1986 year to date
Florida tourism is on track for a banner 1986 as the Florida Department of Commerce reports over 25.8 million domestic and Canadian visitors in the first nine months. Air travelers numbered 12.8 million and auto travelers over 13 million, with year over year increases of 16.3 percent in air visitors and 6.4 percent in auto visitors. In the third quarter, more than 8 million travelers appeared, including 4.5 million auto visitors and 3.6 million air travelers, marking gains over 1985.
