Hair Stylists Compete In First Annual Destin Show
The Destin Hair Dressers Association held its first annual hairstyling show on Sunday November 13 at the Destin Holiday Inn. Coordinators Tilly Wilder Chris Smith and Jimmy Simmons hosted with judges Alice Paprocki Susan Macher Martha Anderson Jan Adams Dorothy Evans and Evelyn Kelly assisting. Contest categories included total fashions for evening student competition commercial day gentlemen's hairshaping and ladies hairstyling. Winners included Total Look first Robert Bowden LaDonna Hair Fashion with Glenda Moerscher. Lady's hairstyling first Betty Crutchfield Shear Professional. Student first Deborah Fernandez Niceville College of Beauty Careers. Men's styling first Lisa Patterson Pensacola.
