Jerry LaChapelle, 18 years a Destin resident, developed Islander and Gulfshore condominiums on Holiday Isle. He leads Islander Management Services, designed Islander as 100 percent furnished rental property, and markets the project while planning future ventures. He praises snowbird demand, notes full bookings for next year, and recalls pioneering Holiday Isle development with strong ties to local associations and family.
