DER to Issue Construction Permit for DWU Water Line
The state Department of Environmental Regulation plans to issue a construction permit for Destin Water Users to lay a 990 foot submerged water line under Old Pass Lagoon to Holiday Isle. Public hearings may be requested after a 14 day notice period. Fire Chief Watkins welcomed the project for improved fire protection and water supply.
