Building Permits In Destin Reach 1.6 Million In April
Destin building permits totaled more than 1.6 million in April per the Okalooga County Zoning and Inspection Department. The largest item was a 680,000 Cabana Club condo on Highway 98 by Destin Development Co. Other notable permits included a 75,000 three unit Sandalwood Manor townhouse, 30,000 Destin Animal Clinic on Main Street, 18,000 Pier 98 Restaurant expansion, 115,000 office addition at 625 Highway 98 by attorney Mark Frederick, 45,000 sales office at 420 Mountain Drive, 31,340 Islander condo two tennis courts at Holiday Isle, and 1,159,111 in commercial permits. Residential single family permits totaled 552,210 across 13 homes.
