Public Hearing on DOT Stormwater Permit in Destin
Destin residents will attend a 7 p.m. April 16 hearing at the Destin Community Center to comment on the DOT permit to modify the Sandpiper Cove stormwater discharge facility as U.S. 98 is moved inland toward the Walton County line. The DOT filed the request with the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation.

Center Gets County Help From County Road Dept Plan
Okaloosa County commissioners approved a cooperative plan with the Destin Community Center to ease flooding at the center building.
