The Destin Lioness Club awards one spring scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is handicapped. Consideration based on scholastic records continued education interest and counselor recommendations. Fort Walton Beach Seafood Festival Set For March 30 to April 1
The Moe Jackson Band will headline the Fort Walton Beach Seafood Festival at the fairground on Lewis Turner Blvd with a weekend of music and family activities. Friday features Community Band Refuge and more, while Saturday offers multiple acts including Panhandle Express and Cecil Overstreet. Sunday includes Moe Jackson Band and Southern Limits, plus crafts, games, and festival merchandise to benefit the Fort Walton Beach Art Museum Association.

Friday March 23 marks the final date to schedule events for inclusion in the official Billy Bowlegs Festival calendar. Dutch Van Buskirk, festival chair, says participating groups must sign contracts to use the new logo in advertising. The logo, a square pirate ship design, is copyrighted and requires committee clearance.
