Destin City Logo Contest Seeks Entries Across Ages
Destin sponsors a city logo contest open to grade school through adult entrants. The winning logo will appear on city stationery and become part of the city seal. Entries due March 15 at City Hall or by mail to City of Destin P.O. Box 399 Destin FL 32541. Judges include Marissa Benton Clyde Jackson Betty LeMakr Lorna Williams and Richard Williams with Mayor Bob McIlroy as honorary judge.

Destin Council Adopts Zoning Procedures For Coastal Areas
Destin city council approved procedural changes directing initial review of board walk and dune crossover requests seaward of the CCCL to the Okaloosa County Zoning and Inspection office. Docks piers bulkheads and seawalls will follow the same path with county review prior to permitting.
