Zoning fight over Bell-Aire Gardens redevelopment reaches council
Bowman notes mislisted Kelly Trust mortgage caused RUD zoning in 220 lot site. Century 21 agent Moore alerted county in 1980, some lots sold as RUD. In 1981 residents formed Homeowners Association and sought RUS zoning, approved in August. Clair Pratt urged reversal to RUC, citing desire for professional offices and property plans. many petitioners were Realtors.
